At Bean and Jack, the journey started with a simple desire: to reconnect with what we eat—and the people who grow it. We decided to call it OriginAL

Curiosity led us away from markets and into the heart of India’s farms and forests. We sat with farmers, listened to their stories, and walked through fields where crops weren’t just grown—they were cherished. We discovered heirloom varieties—seeds preserved over generations, each with a unique flavour, history, and rhythm of its own.

We realised the true value of produce that’s untouched by industrial shortcuts. Grown slowly, seasonally, and in harmony with nature.

But we also saw the gap between the farmer and the final price tag. That’s when our purpose became clear.

We decided to source directly from the origin, ensuring fair prices for farmers, clean food for our customers, and a gentler footprint on the planet. Every product we offer is carefully selected—not just for quality, but for the story it carries.
